Scanning Tickets
Scan QR codes from attendee tickets using the PopOutNow app.
Overview
Every ticket has a unique QR code. Scanning it confirms the ticket is valid and marks the attendee as checked in.
Step-by-Step
- In the bouncer check-in view, tap Scan
- Point the camera at the attendee's QR code (on their phone screen or printed)
- A green confirmation screen means the ticket is valid — let them in
- A red screen means the ticket is invalid or already used — do not admit
Scan Results
| Result | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Green | Valid ticket, not yet used |
| Red — Already Used | Ticket was scanned earlier |
| Red — Invalid | Ticket doesn't belong to this event or is fraudulent |
Common Issues / FAQ
The camera won't focus on the QR code. Make sure there's enough light. Ask the attendee to increase their screen brightness.
Can I check in without scanning? Yes — use the name search in Checking In Guests.
